The construction of the Cosmos hotel, a four-star establishment located in Yakutsk, Russia, is making steady progress. The building, shaped like a triangle with a rounded center, is designed to maximise the number of hotel rooms offering panoramic views of the Lena River.

As of Saturday, 26th July, 147 out of 365 piles have been installed, marking a significant step forward in the project. The plan is to complete the frame of the first two floors by the end of the year.

The Cosmos hotel complex will offer a range of facilities for a comfortable stay, including a business center, restaurant, lobby bar, fitness center, relaxation zone with a sauna, conference area, and other necessary amenities.

The project is being overseen by the construction company "Center SDK". The Corporation "Tourism.RF", Cosmos Hotel Group (part of AFK "Systema"), and "Center" Management Company (part of the "RIK" group) are the founders of this company for the Cosmos hotel project.

The Cosmos hotel will feature various room categories, including 'Standard', 'Junior Suite', and 'Luxury'. The number of rooms is estimated to vary from 148 to 150.

The construction site has also seen the involvement of experienced builders who allocate time for archaeology in construction projects, as is common in the historical center of the city. However, archaeological excavations at the construction site of an old city bathhouse may have caused a delay in the schedule.

The leader of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolaev, has expressed the importance of the Cosmos hotel for Yakutsk and the development of tourism. He had earlier announced a 2026 deadline for the completion of the hotel, but recently ordered it to be put into operation by the end of 2027.

The Lena Bridge and other projects in Yakutia also have construction updates given every six months, with new deadlines announced each time. For the most accurate and current updates on the Cosmos Hotel project, it is recommended to consult official local government sources, construction company announcements, or news outlets focused on Yakutsk or the Sakha Republic region.

The Cosmos hotel, upon completion, will cater to diverse lifestyle preferences with facilities ranging from a business center to a relaxation zone, and will also offer fashion-and-beauty amenities to its guests. Furthermore, the home-and-garden enthusiasts will appreciate the hotel's elegant room categories,Each designed to provide a rejuvenating ambiance for a memorable stay.
