On Saturday, August 16th, SPD-OB candidate Thorsten Berg is set to embark on a north-to-south hike through the city of Oberhausen. The event, aimed at demonstrating his commitment to the city, approachability, and willingness to be among the people, will begin at the Halde Haniel Parking Lot, Kirchhellener Straße, at 8:15 AM, with the tour starting at 8:30 AM.

The hike, approximately 25.6 kilometers long, is expected to last around 10 hours. Along the way, there will be several stops for conversations and engagements with people. Thorsten Berg will be available for questions and discussions at each station.

The hike's route includes stops at Theodor-Spiering-Platz Königshardt (08:55 AM), Marktplatz Schmachtendorf (10:00 AM), Center-Point Sterkrade (11:15 AM), Wappenplatz Osterfeld (12:45 PM), Radio Radtke (approximately 02:45 PM), Uerige (03:35 PM to approximately 04:20 PM), Café Frida (05:10 PM to 05:40 PM), and Zeche Alstaden (06:15 PM).

A 30-minute break/buffer has been scheduled at Radio Radtke. Participants can also expect a snack and beer break at Uerige from 03:35 PM to approximately 04:20 PM. The final drink break will be at Café Frida, until 05:40 PM.
