In a move towards a greener future, Allianz UK has entered into a partnership with Evoque Group Limited, a company specializing in zero-to-landfill solutions. This partnership aims to implement sustainable claims procedures, reducing landfill waste and promoting environmental standards.

Evoque Group, known for its salvage resale and recycling services, will work with Allianz UK to handle damaged materials responsibly. Unsuitable items will be disposed of sustainably, contributing to the reduction of landfill waste.

The partnership also sees the launch of mygreenparts, a digital platform created in collaboration with Allianz Insurance and salvage and recycling company SYNETIQ. mygreenparts facilitates the purchasing process for bodyshops, allowing them to source recycled spare parts for sustainable repairs.

Matt Cox, Chief Claims Officer at Allianz UK, expressed his excitement about the partnership, stating, "We are thrilled to be working with Evoque Group. Their commitment to sustainability aligns perfectly with our own goals, and we look forward to a successful partnership."

James Whittock, Business Development Director at Evoque, shared similar sentiments, expressing his delight about partnering with Allianz.

In other news, Allianz SE, the parent company of Allianz UK, has announced a donation of up to €1.5 million to support disaster relief in Central Europe following severe flooding. The flooding was caused by weather system "Boris" and brought extreme sustained rainfall to the region over a five-day period.

Meanwhile, Evoque Group's waste diversion efforts have been impressive. In 2024, they diverted 3.3 million kg of waste away from landfill, resulting in a CO2 reduction of approximately 7,500 metric tons. Evoque aims to increase this number to 6 million kg in 2025.

As part of its commitment to sustainability, Allianz has also launched its Global Explorer Program. This series of partnerships, activities, and crowd-generated content platforms aims to promote sustainable exploration and technology.

In conclusion, the partnership between Allianz UK and Evoque Group is a significant step towards a more sustainable future for the insurance industry. The partnership not only contributes to the prompt resolution of claims but also supports environmental standards in handling damaged materials.
