Bamberg Offers €9,000 Art Scholarship for Local Artists in 2026
The District of Bamberg is inviting local artists to apply for the 'Art Scholarship Region Bamberg 2026'. The deadline for submission is December 1, 2025.
The scholarship, worth 1,500 euros per month for six months, will be awarded by a five-member jury in January or February 2026. It is open to professional artists from literature, music, visual arts, or performing arts who live in Bamberg or the district.
The funding period will start no earlier than March 1, 2026, and end no later than December 31, 2026. Successful applicants will also have the opportunity to showcase their work at a public presentation organised by the district or city of Bamberg.
Applications must be submitted to the Bamberg District Administration by the deadline. The scholarship aims to support and promote local artistic talent in the region.
