Benrather Beer Market Returns for its 32nd Edition in Düsseldorf
Get ready for a beer-filled weekend as the Benrather Beer Market returns for its 32nd edition in Düsseldorf! From Friday, 25th July, to Sunday, 27th July, the main street of the pedestrian zone and Heubesstraße will transform into a bustling beer festival.
Visitors can expect a vast selection of over 400 beer sorts, including German classics like Munich Hofbräu Helles and Düsseldorf's Fuchschen Alt. But that's not all - the market will also feature an array of international beers, such as San Miguel from Spain, Sagres from Portugal, Krakonos from the Czech Republic, Kalovacko from Croatia, Guinness from Ireland, and Staropramen from the Czech Republic.
Newcomers to this year's event include the Brauerei im Dom, Walsumer Bernstein, Hofgut Hemmse's various wine and sparkling wine sorts, Corona Extra, and Bergische Sprizz of the Erzquell-Brauerei.
In addition to the extensive beer choices, food stalls will offer traditional German fare like pretzels and bratwurst, along with "one or two culinary highlights." The event will focus on variety, enjoyment, and community, ensuring a festive atmosphere that is characteristic of German beer festivals.
Conveniently located, free "Park and Ride" parking spaces are available at the S-Bahn station in Benrath, and nearby parking lots are close to the event area. The site is also easily accessible by U-Bahn or tram, with the "Düsseldorf-Benrath" and "Urdenbacher Allee" stops providing quick access to Heubesstraße.
Best of all, the entrance to the Benrather Beer Market is free on all three event days. The sales stands will open on Friday at 3 pm and close at 11 pm, on Saturday at the same time, and on Sunday at 11 am, with the street festival ending at 8 pm.
