Selling Quality Second-Hand Cars with Transparency and Innovation: A New Venture from Porsche Holding

Porsche Holding, a multinational automotive giant, is expanding its business operation with a fresh brand named Outlet Cars, dedicated to used car sales. This brand, already a hit in Italy, is now making its way into Turin, Piedmont, striving to offer affordable, transparent, and reliable used cars.

Starting from May 10th, Outlet Cars will be accessible at Corso Allamano - via Ferrero, 6, Rivoli (TO). This move marks a significant change in the second-hand vehicle market, combining a digitalized approach and prioritizing customer experience.

Outlet Cars sets itself apart as a go-to destination for economical used cars, promising the same quality and dependability that Porsche Holding is renowned for. Their strategy revolves around an open pricing model, eliminating sudden additional costs and simplifying the buying process.

"We aim to create a big brand," says Angelo Maria Tagliati, director of Outlet Cars, "Because customers seek online recognition for peace of mind in their purchases. We offer that assurance, while ensuring a countryside experience." Tagliati highlights that 97% of buyers initially conduct their research online before they step foot into a physical store. The brand's focus on online visibility, good reputation, and customized customer service is designed to cater to buyers who shop remotely as well.

In addition, Outlet Cars offers extended warranties of up to 48 months. Despite being a part of a multinational company, the brand maintains a dual identity, blending centralized organizational strength with local character, forming a bond with its customers.

Technology plays a pivotal role at Outlet Cars, with an emphasis on innovation and efficiency. The brand offers a digitalized platform for a streamlined purchasing experience. Customers can browse an array of vehicles, access detailed information, and complete most processes online, all at a rapid pace. This ambitious project aims to make technology work for the customer, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free car buying journey.

Based in Turin, Rivoli, and Chieri, Eurocar Rinaldi has been an integral part of the automotive industry since 1955, becoming part of Porsche Holding Salzburg in 2021 through Eurocar Italia's control. With a rich history and a strong connection to the region, Rinaldi is a people-centric company, striving to offer mobility solutions tailored to every customer's needs.

The Turin-based region remains a vital hub for Italy's used car market, with a 7.2% increase in sales in 2024. Director Tagliati attributes this trend to rising prices and the need for affordability, as well as the renewal of vehicle fleets. The growing importance of comprehensive services, including financing options and various guarantees, even for used cars, should not be underestimated.

With the debut of Outlet Cars, Rinaldi | Gruppo Eurocar Italia intends to cater to the growing demand for quality and cost-effective second-hand cars. "Ultimately, it's always the customer's new car," Tagliati concludes.

  1. Outlet Cars, the new venture from Porsche Holding, refines its used car sales strategy by focusing on average prices, transparency, and reliability, aiming to create a recognizable brand in the home-and-garden market.
  2. The Piedmont-based Outlet Cars offers extended warranties, up to 48 months, for its economic used cars, blending technology and local character to form a strong bond with its customers.
  3. In line with the growing trend in electric vehicles, Outlet Cars prioritizes innovation and efficiency, offering a digitalized platform for car-maintenance, allowing customers to browse, research, and purchase vehicles online.
  4. As part of the wider Rinaldi | Gruppo Eurocar Italia, Outlet Cars caters to the demand for quality second-hand cars in the Turin-based region, where sales have increased by 7.2% in 2024, as a result of rising prices, the need for affordability, and the renewal of vehicle fleets.
  5. Being a people-centric company like its parent company, Eurocar Rinaldi, Outlet Cars promises to present mobility solutions tailored to every customer's lifestyle needs, underlining the importance of customer experience and the dual identity it embeds.
