Buses Rerouted on Bierstadter Street
In the heart of Wiesbaden, road closures and construction work have led to temporary detours for several bus lines, notably lines 37, 17, 23, 24, and N11. The main areas affected are Gustav-Stresemann-Ring and Patrickstraße.
As of August 8, 2025, a water pipe break at Gustav-Stresemann-Ring has impacted bus lines 3, 6, 16, 22, 27, 28, 33, 37, 45, 46, 49, and N7. Line 37, in particular, has been affected, while lines 17, 23, 24, and N11 have experienced detours around the same timeframe due to closures at Patrickstraße.
From August 8 to August 17, bus line 37 has been detouring via Zieglerstraße and Patrickstraße, and then B455 towards the city center. During this period, line 37 will not serve the stops "Plutoweg", "Wartestraße", "Fichtestraße", and "Hans-Bredow-Straße".
Starting Monday, August 18, 2025, a new detour scheme will be in place at Gustav-Stresemann-Ring, affecting bus line 37 and potentially others, to accommodate school reopening.
Meanwhile, lines 17, 23, 24, and N11 have been detouring via Kirchbachstraße, Aukammallee, and Fichtestraße from the "Wartestraße" stop. The nearest boarding and alighting points for these lines are at the "Wartestraße", "Hildastraße", and "Alwinenstraße" stops.
It is important to note that the timetable displays at affected stops provide further information. Travelers should check up-to-date local sources or ESWE Verkehr’s website for live information and route planning due to frequent changes.
