Campbell County Senior Citizens' Picnic Returns with Island Time Theme
Get ready to embrace the tropical vibes as the 58th Annual Campbell County Senior Citizens' Picnic is set to take place on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Pendery Park in Melbourne. With the theme of "Island Time", this much-anticipated event promises a fun-filled day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The picnic will feature a variety of activities including live music, Bingo, chair volleyball, corn hole, door prizes, and a boxed chicken lunch. Attendees are encouraged to dress the part by wearing island-inspired outfits such as tropical shirts, leis, and beachy colors.
If you're eager to secure your spot, pre-sale tickets are now available. These can be purchased until September 23, Monday to Friday, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. You can buy your tickets at two convenient locations: the Campbell County Senior Center, located at 3504 Alexandria Pike, Highland Heights, or at the Campbell County Administration Building, situated at 1098 Monmouth Street, Newport (Office 301). Each pre-sale ticket costs $10.
For those who miss the pre-sale period, tickets will still be available at the gate on the day of the event for $15.
