The latest edition of Stadtradeln saw a total of 3,025 cyclists from 183 teams participating, with the largest team being Team Schulstiftung Osnabrück, consisting of schools under church sponsorship and a business office. This impressive team boasted 340 members and covered a staggering 62,089 kilometers during the competition.

Over the years, the total kilometers covered during the competition have seen a significant rise. In 2013, participants covered approximately 100,000 kilometers. By 2022, this figure had risen to over 700,000 kilometers, roughly equivalent to cycling the Earth's equator almost 17 times!
**CO2 Emissions Saved**
The primary aim of Stadtradeln is to reduce CO2 emissions by encouraging cycling as an alternative to driving. In its early years, the event saved an estimated 15 to 20 tons of CO2. In recent years, this figure has increased significantly, with participants now saving approximately 140 to 160 tons of CO2 annually during the competition.
