Community College in the City Prioritizes Sustainability / Discussion on Sustainability Holds at the City Community College from 3 PM to 7 PM on September 24th
The Städtische Volkshochschule Magdeburg is hosting a Sustainability Day on September 24, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, at Leibnizstraße 23 in Magdeburg. This event, focused on environmental protection, resource conservation, and sustainable living, is free and open to all, with no registration required.
The City of Magdeburg is capturing the day's events through photography, showcasing the importance of sustainability in the city. The day promises to be filled with interactive activities, lectures on current sustainability topics, and engaging exhibits from local initiatives and organizations.
One of the highlights of the day will be the plant exchange, where attendees can swap their green thumb favourites. For those looking for more, a book and game exchange will also be available. The "Allesretter Magdeburg" will be present with their food rescue service, demonstrating the practicality of reducing food waste.
The kitchen of the Adult Education Center will showcase its creativity by demonstrating how to creatively use leftovers, offering insights into sustainable cooking practices. The goal is to demonstrate the diversity, creativity, and practicality of sustainable action.
