Dazzling Duo: The Charm of Rose Jumilia in Two-Tone Radiance

In the world of roses, a new star is shining brightly: Rose Jumilia. This bi-colored rose is making waves among both consumers and florists, thanks to its unique colour and defined pink edge.

At the helm of the multi-generational family business J&K Rosa, which has been in operation since 1973, is Koen Meewisse. It is under his leadership that Rose Jumilia is cultivated, ensuring quality and consistency.

Rose Jumilia is celebrated not only for its striking appearance, but also for its shape, colour, clarity, and reliable vase life. The rose is bred by the worldwide-renowned breeder United Selections, adding another feather to its cap.

Interestingly, there is no definitive information about who created Rose Jumilia in the context of rose breeding. Despite numerous references to other rose varieties and breeders, Rose Jumilia remains an enigma in the rose breeding community.

J&K Rosa is embracing technology to enhance its operations. AI is being used to analyse pictures from the sorting line, flagging blooms that don't meet 100% perfection for further inspection. This innovation is expected to improve quality control and ensure a consistent supply of flawless blooms.

In contemporary floral design, Rose Jumilia is a versatile choice. It can be used to accent edges for focal blooms, create a two-tone centrepiece, or balance scent and texture with airy foliage and modern containers.

Rose Jumilia is available in two options: green sleeve A1 and pink sleeve A1 XL. The former caters to general needs, while the latter, known as the 'very best', is sought after by florists and customers for their most refined pieces.

J&K Rosa takes pride in its dedicated crew of about twenty-five people who ensure high standards in rose cultivation. The family-driven cultivation legacy regularly plants fresh beds to provide florists with prime material for their designs.

To care for Rose Jumilia, it is recommended to cut early in the day with clean, sharp tools, recut stems at a slight angle, place in fresh, clean water with a floral preservative, keep away from direct heat and drafts, regularly refresh water and remove spent petals, and store in a cool, bright room to maintain edge definition and blossom form.

Early results from the AI implementation at J&K Rosa are expected in the coming weeks, signalling a smarter and more consistent supply chain. As Rose Jumilia continues to captivate the floral world with its classic white-to-edge transition and unmistakable edge color, it's clear that this rose is here to stay.
