Dortmund City Honors Notable Integration Initiatives with €10,000 Rewards

The city of Dortmund is set to recognise clubs, organisations, and institutions that have made significant contributions towards promoting coexistence between locals and newcomers with the ninth edition of the Integration Prize.

Scheduled to take place in December, the award ceremony will be held at the Dietrich-Keuning-Haus. The prize, endowed with a total of 10,000 euros, will be awarded to the first, second, and third place winners.

The first winner will receive 5,000 euros, while second and third place winners will receive 3,000 euros and 2,000 euros respectively. The Integration Prize aligns with Dortmund's guiding principle "Together in Diversity - At Home in Dortmund".

Applications for the Integration Prize can be submitted to the "MIA-DO" Municipal Integration Center Dortmund. Interested parties can find the application documents on the official Dortmund city website dortmund.de/integrationspreis-2025.

The deadline for applications is September 15, 2025. Previous winners of the Integration Prize include the Jewish Cultural Community for their project "Mittendrin in Hörde" in 2023 and the "Train of hope" association in 2021.
