The Committee Düsseldorf Carnival (CC) is inviting all friends of the festivities to participate in the search for a new motto for the 2024 session. The current motto, "We Celebrate Life", has been used for the past three years and has come to symbolise the peace, joy, and spirit of Düsseldorf's revelers.
The CC President, Michael Laumen, has stated that the motto encapsulates what makes Dusseldorf's carnival unique. The new session motto should be short, snappy, funny, and memorable, much like the Rosenmontagszug, a significant part of the Dusseldorf Carnival.
Suggestions for the new motto can be submitted by email to [email protected]. The subject of the email should be "Session Motto 2024". The competition is open for submissions until March 15th.
The winners of the motto competition will receive a special prize. They will be awarded two reserved seats on the tribune at the Town Hall for the Rosenmontagszug, the grand finale of the Dusseldorf Carnival. Additionally, they will also receive reserved seats at the Town Hall for the Rosenmontagszug.
