Meet us bright and early at the municipal yard in Kirchgasse at 10 AM, Saturday, March 29th. We'll split into small groups to conquer the area together. The local municipality will be treating us with refreshments to keep us energized throughout the day. Don't forget to bring your gloves, tongs, or similar tools—gladiators of the mud, arm yourselves! 💪
What's the deal with this Cleanup Spectacle?
This event is an open invitation to the community to team up and make a difference in our surroundings. Our goal is to scour the area for unwanted trash, sort out recyclables, and turn our local spaces into a safe and sparkling haven. Along the way, we might even learn a thing or two about waste management and sustainable practices.
Safety first! Participants are advised to wear protective gear like gloves, sturdy shoes, and clothing fit for the battlefield. Fuel up with water and snacks provided by the municipality. Remember, united we stand, divided we fall!
Where do we embark on our quest?
The event will kick off at the Kirchgasse Community Center. Our groups will fan out across various sections of Kirchgasse and neighboring public spaces to restore them to their former glory.
What do I need to join the war against trash?
- Sign up! Pre-registration is a must to ensure we have the required supplies for all our brave warriors. Register online or pop by the local community center.
- Equip yourself! Bring your own gloves and water bottle. The rest, such as work gloves, trash bags, and other necessities, will be provided.
- No age limit, but young ones under 12 must be accompanied by a mentor.
- Time commitment? As little as an hour makes a difference! The cleanup will run from 9 AM to 1 PM—feel free to join whenever you can.
- Get ready to battle some skills! Depending on the roles required at the time, you might find yourself coordinating logistics, leading educational sessions, or leading the war cry!
