Extension of Application Deadline at the Centre Due to Increased Demand
For those who love Oktoberfest and Bavarian traditions, the annual tz-Wiesn-Madl competition offers a unique opportunity to be part of the festivities. This year, the application period has been extended until July 13, giving potential contestants more time to apply.
Girls from across Bavaria, including Regina (22) from Warngau, Lara (23) from Bissingen, Emelie (28) from Anzing, Viktoria (18) from Ottobrunn, and Anna (30) who has expressed her love for Oktoberfest, are among those who have already applied. Angelina (22), an administrative assistant, has also joined the race, following in the footsteps of her grandmother who was a kitchen worker at the Oktoberfest for 40 years.
Laurena (18), eager to show her enthusiasm and represent Bavarian traditions, is also keen to participate.
The competition, traditionally a highlight of the Oktoberfest in Munich, sees contestants vying to be crowned as the Wiesn-Madl, a representative figure at the festival. The winner of tz-Wiesn-Madl 2025 can expect a bounty of prizes, totaling more than 15,000 euros.
The winner will receive a 70-day cruise in Croatia, a 5,000 euro voucher from Böhmler furniture store, a premium model workshop voucher from The Model Institute, a seven-month membership in a studio from Elements Fitness & Wellness, and three overnight stays in a Minor Hotel.
The second place winner will receive a voucher from Trachten Angermaier, entrance tickets to Bayern-Park, and a workshop voucher from The Model Institute worth 30%. The third place winner will receive a voucher from Trachten Angermaier, entrance tickets to Bayern-Park, and a Polashooting session with Coach Stefan.
All twelve finalists will receive a stylish dirndl from Trachten Angermaier.
