Five lavish speakers, inspired by iconic Lamborghini finishes, are now available for purchase.
The high-end audio brand Sonus Faber, now part of the Bose Corporation following its 2024 acquisition of the McIntosh group, has announced the release of the Cremonese Ex3me speakers, a limited edition collaboration with Automobili Lamborghini.
Available for order from 13 August 2025 via the Sonus Faber website, these luxurious audiophile loudspeakers are limited to just 50 numbered pairs worldwide.
The Cremonese Ex3me speakers are a 3.5-way, full para-aperiodic vented box design, featuring a 30mm Diamond-Like-Carbon (DLC) beryllium dome tweeter with a resonant frequency above 35kHz, offering exceptional microdynamics and resolution. The mid-range cone driver is crafted from air-dried cellulose, Kapok, and Kenaf for warm, realistic midrange sound. The speakers also boast two 180mm woofers with Sonus Faber’s signature sandwich cone construction for deep, controlled bass and midrange coherence, as well as two 220mm side-mounted nanocarbon-fiber/Nomex honeycomb long-throw subwoofers for extended low-frequency output.
The speakers’ newly designed crossover is optimized for clarity, phase precision, and reduced noise floor, using a fully re-engineered Paracross Topology™ network with premium Mundorf components. The system offers a frequency response of 25 Hz to 35,000 Hz, sensitivity of 92 dB SPL (2.83 V/1 m), nominal impedance of 4 Ω, and recommended amplifier power of 100 W to 800 W (undistorted signal).
Design-wise, each speaker is handmade with natural materials, featuring an angular five-sided cabinet with sculpted contours inspired by Lamborghini super sports cars. They are finished with exclusive Lamborghini colors—Giallo Countach, Arancio Egon, Blu Marinus Matte, Verde Mercurius, and Nero Nemesis Matte—and include signature elements like Corsa-Tex, carbon fiber details, and the Lamborghini shield logo.
The Cremonese Ex3me speakers represent a blend of Italian automotive design flair and Sonus Faber’s artisanal acoustic craftsmanship, delivering a luxury sound experience that reflects both brands’ pursuit of perfection and cultural heritage.
