The city of Greifswald has introduced a new online portal, evenkoo, to streamline event announcements. This platform aims to reduce effort and increase clarity for both event organizers and authorities. The evenkoo portal guides users through the necessary information for event announcements, allowing them to enter data directly, upload documents, and even draw event areas or routes on a geocart. This step-by-step process simplifies the announcement process. Authorities can now check and process announcements faster as all information is bundled at a central location on the evenkoo portal. Deadlines are also monitored more effectively, enabling quicker feedback to organizers. However, the city will continue to answer questions about events by phone or email as usual. The evenkoo portal is now the primary way to display publicly noticeable events in Greifswald. For events with higher noise levels in 2026, organizers should announce them to the city by October 31, 2025. The portal also allows users to save announcements to continue later or submit additional documents.
