Jamie, a blogger and Hometalk.com representative, has a unique approach to Christmas decorations. Instead of a traditional Christmas tree, Andy and Jamie have never had one in their home. Instead, they adorn their mantle with a peace wreath made in October, adding lights for the Christmas season.

Jamie has a monogram Christmas wreath that she made last year and shared a tutorial for it on Good Day Austin. She also has a glass bowl of ornaments on the mantle, and a white nutcracker and a picture of a bottle cap Christmas tree grace the space. This year, she is considering using a lighted wreath as a holiday card holder.

Jamie's house may not be the most festive or cute for Christmas, but she is always experimenting with new decorations. In September, she created a garage Christmas tree for a post that went live last Thursday. She also crafted a snowman window scene in August for a sponsored post that went live on November 5th. However, she has not created a modern wall tree this year.

One of Jamie's favourite Christmas decorations is the giant snowflakes she reused from a window scene in a different location, now living on the fireplace. She is also a fan of Lucy's home at Crafterberry Bush and recommends checking it out.

Jamie is curious about where people store their Christmas decorations and where they put their everyday items that get moved for Christmas decorations. She stores her decorations in a variety of organized and space-saving ways, such as using clear plastic bins, labeling each container, and keeping ornaments in their original boxes. For delicate items, she uses specialty storage containers, hanging storage, or vacuum-sealed bags. Some families assign a specific area for holiday decorations, while others use reusable bins instead of disposable boxes.

Despite the lack of a traditional Christmas tree, Jamie's home is filled with unique and creative Christmas decorations that add to the festive spirit. And with a little bambino expected next year, it will be interesting to see how Jamie's Christmas decorations evolve.

Jamie's unique Christmas decorations, featuring a monogram wreath and handcrafted garlands, reflect her lifestyle and love for home-and-garden projects. She shares her crafts and their home decor ideas on Good Day Austin and various blog posts, including a modern snowman window scene and a garage Christmas tree.
