In Vereinsheim, Todtmoos, a burglary occurred at an unspecified association building. The criminals responsible for the crime are yet to be identified, and the authorities are urgently seeking additional witnesses.

In an unexpected turn of events, an association building in the quaint town of Jaegermatt, Todtmoos, was vandalised on December 16, 2024, at around 4:50 PM. The unknown perpetrators smashed several windows, suggesting a possible attempt to gain entry.

The police in Bad Säckingen are actively investigating the incident. Residents with any information are urged to contact the Bad Säckingen police station at 07761 934-0, which is reachable 24/7. A witness reported seeing one of the suspects near the building. The description of the two suspects is available. The first suspect is described as a male, approximately 165 cm tall, wearing a black hoodie and jeans. The second suspect was wearing a grey tracksuit.

The property damage is estimated to be several thousand euros. After the vandalism, the suspects fled over a caravan parking area and crossed the old bridge towards Wehragrund.
