Joyful Adventures Await in the Marine Forest for the Entire Family
The "Wuselpfad," a forest adventure trail designed for families and kindergartens, has made its way to Korntal-Münchingen's Seewald area. This nature-educational path offers an interactive and playful experience for visitors as they follow the trail of a missing Wusel.
Organized by the Ludwigsburg district office, the "Wuselpfad" is a temporary mobile forest experience that invites visitors to explore the forest and its inhabitants. The trail is themed around a missing Wusel, offering small tasks, puzzles, and stories at several stations. The circular path is approximately two kilometers long and takes one to two hours to complete, making it suitable for families with children aged four and above.
Sturdy footwear and tick protection are recommended for the trail, and partially stroller parking is available. The trail will be officially opened at 11 am at the Waldspielplatz, with Revierförster Simon Walz and Mayor Alexander Noak present for the occasion.
The "Wuselpfad" is a free and interactive forest adventure trail, combining movement, adventure, and environmental education. After its stay in Korntal-Münchingen, the trail will move on to Heimerdingen before the autumn holidays. It was previously set up in Löchgau.
Participation in the "Wuselpfad" does not require registration. A treasure map for the trail route will be available at the starting point in the forest and can also be downloaded from the district's website starting August 7th.
Florian Elsaesser from the Forest Department of the Ludwigsburg District Office states that the "Wuselpfad" aims to let children and families experience the forest with all their senses. The trail is part of a guest event in the Seewald and will continue until just before the autumn holidays in 2025.
