Kate Spade partners on a collection of clothing for larger sizes
In a bid to revitalise the Kate Spade brand, Eva Erdmann, the newly appointed president, has teamed up with DTC brand Eloquii to create an 11-piece holiday collection. Eloquii, which was initially launched by The Limited in 2011 and relaunched as a DTC brand in 2014, was later bought by Walmart in 2018. The brand was later acquired by FullBeauty Brands in 2023. The collaboration aims to blend Eloquii's impeccable fit with Kate Spade's signature prints and playful sense of style. The collection, designed by Yesenia Leigh, vice president of design and creative director of Eloquii, includes bow-adorned dresses, polka dot skirts, pink cocktail dresses, blazers, and blouses. The pieces, priced between $99 and $499, are available in sizes 14 to 28. The collection was announced in a press release on Thursday and debuted exclusively on Eloquii's e-commerce site the same day. Kate Spade, owned by Tapestry Inc., which also owns Coach and Stuart Weitzman, has been a challenge for the company. With this collaboration, the partnership results in a collection where timeless elegance meets modern, fun fashion. Eva Erdmann, the new president of Kate Spade, is tasked with helping the brand grow. This collaboration is a step towards achieving that goal, as the brand continues to evolve and adapt to the changing fashion landscape.
