At this year's NAB Show, several exciting new developments are being showcased, demonstrating the ongoing advancements in the broadcasting and technology industries.

ENCO Systems is adding new languages to its enTranslate engine on a consistent basis. This expansion is a significant step towards making their automated captioning solutions more accessible to a global audience. At Booth W1743, ENCO is debuting enCaption Sierra, a next-generation automated captioning solution.

enCaption Sierra leverages GPU processing for improved speaker change detection and recognition of music, laughter, applause, and crowd noise. It's an all-in-one solution for on-premises and cloud environments, making it a versatile tool for broadcasters. However, further information regarding the company presenting the enCaption Sierra System at Booth W1743 at the NAB Show 2024 was not available at the time of writing.

Mo-Sys Engineering is also showcasing a new product at Booth C5525. Mo-Captury enables anyone to interact with the virtual world without the need for suits. It allows for instant calibration and seamless blending of real-world actions with AR graphics, offering a unique and immersive experience.

Meanwhile, at the Audiotonix C6307 booth, ASG and SSL are hosting the session "Lesson Learned on Advances in Cloud Production Technology, from a Systems Integrator's Perspective." The session is scheduled for two times: Sunday, April 14, from 4:30-5 p.m. local time and Monday, April 15, from 5-5:30 p.m. local time. Dave Van Hoy, ASG president and known as SCN's own cloud expert, and JanMeja Heir, ASG's lead cloud engineer, will share firsthand insights during the session.

SSL and ASG have a longstanding relationship, with significant cooperation in the concept phase of System T Cloud, a cloud broadcast mixer that is being put into general release. Tom Knowles, director of product management at SSL, stated that having strong technical partners is key for the development of System T Cloud.

Sony Electronics is showcasing the BRC-AM7, a new 4K 60p pan-tilt-zoom camera with an integrated lens, at Booth C8201. The BRC-AM7 is the world's smallest and lightest integrated lens PTZ camera, promoting greater freedom and flexibility in installation. It also works seamlessly with Sony's professional camera ecosystem. The BRC-AM7 incorporates PTZ Auto Framing technology that uses AI for subject tracking.

AJA Video Systems is debuting ColorBox v2.1 at Booth SL3065. This free software update is for AJA's real-time color managed workflow device. Moreover, AJA also announced that ColorBox and Pomfort's Livegrade have received the first joint logo product certification status by the Academy Color Encoding System (ACES) for their support of ACES-based workflows.

These innovations and more are set to transform the broadcasting landscape, offering broadcasters and content creators new tools for creating immersive, high-quality content. The NAB Show 2024 promises to be an exciting event for the industry.
