In the world of interior design, the upcoming fall season of 2025 promises a breath of fresh air with the introduction of the Reverie collection by Sarah Sherman Samuel for Lulu and Georgia. This collection, presented in Los Angeles, brings a unique blend of whimsical furniture, rugs, and accents that resemble family heirlooms, all while staying true to the trend of minimalism.

The single pillow trend is gaining traction for 2025, and the Reverie collection embraces this shift with open arms. Designers are favouring a minimalist approach, allowing furniture to take a breather. One of the standout pieces embodying this trend is the Bernadette sofa, a breakout star of the collection with its scalloped design and various upholstery options. Another example is a striped and ruffled blue pillow, which still incorporates fun design elements while adhering to the minimalist ethos.

Sarah Sherman Samuel has also introduced a blue botanical print bedding, making a case for bringing the garden indoors. The collection's palette consists of uplifting moss greens, baby blues, and pale woods, offering a refreshing change from traditional fall colour schemes. Blues and greens, surprisingly, work well with deep oranges and warming browns, adding a groundbreaking twist to the autumnal aesthetic.

Reverie includes sculptural accents and hand-loomed rugs, such as the hand-loomed viscose rug with a lush green colourway. This rug, with its autumnal aura, pairs easily with lighter palettes but can also shift to navies and oxbloods, providing versatility in design.

The collection also features the Karme Vase, a bona fide art piece with a flared lip and organic handles. This vase, more than just a vessel, adds an artistic touch to any space. The tapered, twisted candelabra, made of resin and available in a cream colorway, is another standout piece from the Reverie collection.

The collection also sees the return of familiar design elements from earlier Lulu and Georgia collections, such as cutout silhouettes. A new addition to this trend is the perforated silhouette, an airy addition to living rooms or entryways, fitting into the "tiny tables trend" designers are loving.

Sarah Sherman Samuel's Reverie collection for Lulu and Georgia's fall 2025 line offers a fresh and exciting take on fall decor, promising to breathe new life into homes and interiors. With its minimalist approach, whimsical furniture, and unique colour palette, this collection is sure to be a hit among design enthusiasts and homeowners alike.
