Marriott's Autograph Collection Expands with Luxury Serengeti Safari Camp

Marriott's Autograph Collection is set to expand with the opening of Mapito Safari Camp in the Serengeti, Tanzania, in September 2025. The luxury camp will offer a unique safari experience with 16 tented suites and a range of exciting activities.

Mapito Safari Camp will boast 16 elegant tented suites, including a 2-bedroom villa, each featuring an outdoor deck, a fire pit, and a retractable roof for stargazing. Guests can enjoy a variety of experiences, such as daytime game drives, hot air balloon flights, and bush dining. Cultural immersion is also on offer with engagement opportunities with a local tribe.

The camp will be situated near the Fort Ikoma gate of the Serengeti National Park, placing guests right along the Great Migration route. Guests can expect a range of amenities, including a spa, a fitness center, a swimming pool, and several dining options. The restaurant will be inspired by traditional bonfires, adding a touch of local authenticity to the dining experience.

Rates at Mapito Safari Camp start at $891 per night for single occupancy and $1,425 for double occupancy in October. Alternatively, guests can use points for a stay, with rates starting at 145,600 points per night for two people.

The opening of Mapito Safari Camp in September 2025 marks Marriott's expansion into the Serengeti and its commitment to the Autograph Collection brand. With its unique location, luxurious accommodations, and exciting activities, Mapito Safari Camp is set to provide an unforgettable safari experience. Reservations are now open from September 15, and Marriott has plans for more safari camps in the Serengeti and Masai Mara in Kenya.
