Feeling the irresistible urge to dance under the sun, sipping on pitchers of sangria? Then you probably had an "Island Fever," a popular tune by Julian Sommer and Frenzy. And judging by the crowded dancing floor at Oberhausen, many doctors should've been called out in the scorching heat of the Ruhr area on Saturday.

That's right; over 35,000 revelers attended the supposedly biggest Mallorca bash in Germany, "Insel-Fieber," with temperatures soaring past 30°C.

"Here, you can experience a 100% Mallorca vibe, but in Germany, that's what makes this event exceptional," said Frenzy, the singer and host, to the German Press Agency. Set against the backdrop of the Rudolf-Weber-Arena, nestled by the Rhein-Herne-Kanal and the massive Westfield Centro shopping mall, dozens of artists took turns entertaining the crowd for more than ten hours. Like their previous gigs at "Bierkönig" and "Megapark El Arenal," stars such as Mickie Krause, Mia Julia, Lorenz Büffel, Isi Glück, Julian Sommer, and Marc Eggers strutted their stuff on two stages.

But let's face it; the heat combined with beer and sangria made things a bit tricky for some party-goers - medics were kept pretty busy, despite free water being stationed throughout the venue.
