Regional operator participates in traditional meetings with gardeners
In advance of the gardening season, meetings were held with representatives from cottagers' associations in the Sverdlovsky district of Kransoyarsk, Berezovsky district, and ZATO Zheleznogorsk. Various topics were discussed, including the organization of waste storage areas and the signing of contracts with regional operators. Representatives from OOO "ROSTtech" reminded cottagers' association members of the proper procedure for disposing of solid waste within their communities, the process for signing contracts with regional operator OOO "ROSTtech" for waste removal, and the payment process for the "waste management" service by cottagers. As of now, not all cottagers' associations have signed contracts with regional operators, which is required by law.
Specialists explained the procedure for organizing a waste storage area. According to Part 3 of Federal Decree No 1039 "On Approving Rules for Arranging Waste Storage Sites/Places and Keeping Their Register," such sites are established by local government entities, except for cases stipulated by federal legislation wherein the responsibility falls on other parties. As a result, a container site can be organized by a local government entity (if the landowner is a municipality) or a cottagers' association (if the land used for waste storage is private property).
Many cottagers' associations have already established modern container sites, considerably improving the sanitary condition of the areas. During the meetings, participants were informed about new waste storage and service rate standards that took effect on January 1, 2025. The waste storage allowance for non-commercial cottagers' and gardening associations has been reduced and amounts to 0.0012 cubic meters per year. This results in nearly a 50% savings for cottagers with proper waste disposal methods. Some cottagers have installed additional containers, enabling them to process a larger volume of waste for the same service fee and maintaining forests in a clean state.
"We encourage cottagers not to avoid signing contracts with regional operators and to report the full volume of waste generated," noted the company.

In the near future, meetings with cottagers will take place in the October, Kirov, and Lenin districts of the city. It is worth noting that the regional operator conducts an annual initiative to support cottagers by providing containers for free. This initiative will continue in the current year.
