RheinBerg Gallery becomes permanent home to Plauderbank's art collection
The Chatter Bench project, an initiative designed to encourage social interaction and combat loneliness, has found a new home in the RheinBerg Gallery. This art installation or community project, which was previously located in the Park of Villa Zanders, has been moved to a more accessible and frequented area within the gallery.
The Chatter Bench provides a consistent location for visitors to engage in pleasant conversations with volunteers. Located on the rear part of the ground floor, it offers a designated time and location for alleviating loneliness through conversations every Wednesday from 2 to 4 PM. The bench is now sheltered from weather-related issues, making it available all year round.
The move was likely due to issues with sunlight and rain in the summer and winter months at the Park of Villa Zanders, as well as a desire to reach a different audience. The Volunteer Exchange RheinBerg e.V., the organisation responsible for the Chatter Bench project, published a contribution about the move in their official communications.
The Chatter Bench in the RheinBerg Gallery is open to all guests who wish to have a nice chat. The volunteers of the Chatter Bench project look forward to pleasant conversations with visitors. If you find yourself in need of a friendly chat or simply want to make a new acquaintance, be sure to stop by the Chatter Bench in the RheinBerg Gallery.
The Chatter Bench project, initially a home-and-garden installation, has transitioned to the RheinBerg Gallery, expanding its potential audience on social media. Now, apart from home-and-garden enthusiasts, individuals interested in art, entertainment, and lifestyle may discover and engage with this unique home-and-garden art piece meant for alleviating loneliness through conversations.
