Ritualists celebrating at the Rodinger Traditional Festival
In the heart of Bavaria, the picturesque town of Bad Kötzting recently hosted its annual Pentecost festival, a vibrant celebration of local customs and traditions. This year's event, held in 2025, was no exception, attracting a diverse range of participants and spectators.
The festival was a melting pot of local citizens and residents, many adorned in traditional Bavarian or regional costumes, who played the role of primary participants and spectators. The Pentecost ceremony was a significant event within the community, with Nicklas Neubauer serving as the Pentecost Groom, and Anna Maria Pielmeier as the Pentecost Bride. The ceremony was the main focus during their special day, with the festival stage acting as the central location for performances and gatherings.
The festival was warmly welcomed by Bad Kötzting's Mayor, Markus Hofmann, and the 1st Mayor, Alexandra Riedl, who extended their gratitude to the Pentecost Attendees 2025 upon their arrival. Other performers, such as the Roding Ball Queens, the Further Knight Pair, and the Trenk Performers, provided additional entertainment before the Pentecost ceremony.
