Sabine Hofmann Steps Down as Editor-in-Chief of 'myself' and 'Donna' After Two Decades

Sabine Hofmann, the longstanding leader of women's lifestyle magazines 'myself' and 'Donna', will step down at the end of November. Veronika Schaller, previously at Bauer Media Group, will take over as editor-in-chief from December 1st.

Hofmann has led these magazines for two decades and eight years respectively, bringing significant changes and growth. Julia Becker, publisher at Funke, praised her leadership and performance. Hofmann will continue as a journalist and author after her departure.

Schaller joins Funke Mediengruppe from Bauer Media Group, where she served as editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan. Barbara Brehm, managing director of Funke Lifestyle GmbH, expressed confidence in Schaller's ability to further develop the magazines. Schaller looks forward to leading 'Donna' and 'myself' into the future.

Sabine Hofmann's departure marks the end of an era at 'myself' and 'Donna'. Veronika Schaller's appointment signals a new chapter, with high expectations for her leadership.
