Sadly, the beloved holiday popup toy store in San Ramon has shut down.
Located smack-dab in the heart of San Ramon, City Center Bishop Ranch served as the temporary home to a much-loved holiday pop-up: Five Little Monkeys. Unfortunately, like all good things, this toy treasure trove had to pack up and call it quits once the festive season eventually winded down.
Upon visiting this mini-mecca of all things kid-friendly, we witnessed the bittersweet teardown of our favorite temporary toy store. The store was chock-full of educational playthings, Legos, books, and plenty more that caught our attention in more ways than one.
Even with its short stint, this pop-up managed to leave quite the dent in our bank accounts - think several hundred bucks, all spent on holiday gifts!
So, where are we left running to now that the Five Little Monkeys pop-up store has ceased operations? Well, swing by the permanent store in downtown Lafayette, California, for a retail experience that every parent will enjoy.
Though we're feeling a tad blue about the loss of this pop-up delight, maybe City Center will reconsider its shopping portfolio and consider a permanent toy store among its tenant offerings in the not-so-distant future.
Fingers crossed! On the cheerier side, it's been announced that a brand-new play space will soon take over the vacated pop-up location.

We'll miss the educational and engaging toys from the Five Little Monkeys pop-up store, but we can still find a great selection at the permanent store in downtown Lafayette, California, catering to every parent's shopping needs. On the brighter side, a new play space is soon to occupy the vacated pop-up location, keeping the spirit of family-friendly fun alive in San Ramon.
