Seasonal vacation activities open for attendance by children

This summer, children aged 6-12 are invited to embark on a fascinating journey at the Bamberger Land Farm Museum. The museum is hosting an interactive herbal workshop, named "What's Growing There? - Little Herb Explorers on a Discovery Tour," designed to encourage young minds to explore the plant world with all their senses.

The workshop, scheduled for Friday, August 22, from 10:00 to 12:30, promises a fun-filled morning of making nettle chips, herb sticks, and lemonade, all while discovering wild herbs. Participants will also engage in the use of a research notebook, riddles, and games to enhance their learning experience.

But that's not all! The children will be encouraged to taste small samples of herbs as part of their sensory exploration. To join in the fun, all you need to bring is an empty can and an apron. The cost of 15 Euro includes all materials.

Those who miss the August 22 workshop can still join the herbal exploration activity scheduled for Thursday, August 28. More details about this activity will be announced soon.

The Bamberger Land Farm Museum is not just about farm animals and traditional farming methods. It's a place where children can explore, enjoy, and relax, making it an ideal destination for a summer holiday outing.
