Seeking information about shared housing options in Mocht

In an exciting development, the University Town Marburg is hosting an information event on Thursday, September 25th, at 7 pm, in the multi-purpose hall in Moischt, Eulenkopfstraße 55. This event promises to shed light on the renovation of a farmstead in Moischt, which aims to promote social interaction among residents.

The project, spearheaded by architect and project developer Antje Riedel, focuses on creating high-quality living spaces in formerly agriculturally used buildings. Antje, known for her work on the revitalization of old farmyards, has successfully implemented cooperative projects in Bad Homburg and is currently working on a residential project in Colbe-Schönstadt.

During the event, Antje will present her work on the renovation of the farmstead in Moischt, illustrating how smaller apartments can be designed with shared use of spaces, making it suitable for older couples and singles whose children have moved out. The farmstead offers space for different, also barrier-free living spaces, communal rooms, and a large garden area.

The managing director of GeWoBau-Marburg, Jürgen Rausch, and the city councilor for construction, Dr. Michael Kopatz, will also present initial ideas for the renovation of the existing farmstead in Moischt.

The communal living arrangement in Moischt offers opportunities for communal living, a concept that is gaining popularity, especially among those seeking social interaction and a sense of community. If you are interested in learning more about this unique project, this event is intended for you.
