Hitting the Silver Screen: A Children's Film Fest in HCM City!

The city is buzzing as a special film fest for the little ones takes center stage - and this ain't no ordinary movie experience. Under the motto Today's Little Heroes, Tomorrow's Global Citizens, the event presents a collection of family-friendly films from around the world, promising a delightful blend of fun, learning, and indulging in the beauty of storytelling.

Organized by the esteemed Goethe Institute and held at the General Science Library of HCM City, this film fest promises to be an unforgettable cinematic adventure for young audiences and their families.

The cheering squad behind this magical event includes partners such as the PRIX JEUNESSE Foundation, S-Connect Creative Ecosystem, the General Science Library of HCM City, the THD Education Solution Co., Ltd., and the PASCH Initiative.

The star attraction of the fest is the Strong Stories for Strong Children series, a curated selection of captivating narratives featuring young characters from around the world as they grapple with the highs and lows of childhood.

The films are screened at 69 Ly Tu Trong Street, Beñ Thanh Ward, District 1, from 10:30 am to 11:15 am every Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, until August 15. And the best part? Admission is absolutely free!

The Strong Stories for Strong Children series takes young viewers on a thought-provoking journey through tales filled with courage, friendship, loss, and dreams. Global, yet relatable, the series aims to encourage reflection on resilience, justice, and empathy.

In addition, four animated films by local production house S-Connect grace the screen, including Mr. Tao's Carp, Funny Lion Dance, Wolfoo and Mysterious Island, and Trash Monster.
