Tomsk Taps Running Again After Early Repair! 🚿🛠️🎉
Great news for Tomsk residents – the city's water supplier, Tomskvodokanal, has finished the big repair job on the water pipelines ahead of schedule! 🕒🔥🔧
Initially, the repairs were scheduled for May 15-17 in October and Lenin districts of the city. Almost 3,000 homes were bracing themselves for a water outage while the specialists replaced ageing pipeline sections and worn-out valve equipment. The target date for completion was set for 20:00 on May 17.
However, as reported by the city's housing department, the maintenance crew completed the capital repair works ahead of time! 🏆🌟 The project was wrapped up at 07:50, and the water pressure is now back to normal, according to city officials.
Dmitri Putrov, the deputy mayor, said that the water from taps may appear slightly murky for a short while. But fret not, after a few hours, the system will be filled, and the water will flow smoothly, ensuring good quality H₂O. 🚿
"Residents of Tomsk can now return to their home-and-garden chores and home-improvement projects as the city's water supply is back to normal, following the successful early repair of the pipelines."
"Amidst the renewed lifestyle of uninterrupted water supply, Dmitri Putrov advises homeowners to be patient for a few hours if they notice slightly murky water, as the system fills up, ensuring good quality water for daily needs."
