GOLDBECK and AS+P Albert Speer + Partner Revitalize an Office Complex in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen
GOLDBECK, a European construction and services company specializing in systemized building solutions, has collaborated with AS+P Albert Speer + Partner GmbH to revitalize an office complex in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen on behalf of Aldi Süd.
The building, dating back to 1966 and last used as an office, will undergo a comprehensive revitalization. The project's focus on sustainability, innovation, and efficient use of resources aligns with GOLDBECK's commitment to delivering systemized building solutions.
The revitalization will be implemented innovatively and sustainably. GOLDBECK will use a mass timber upper floor, a serialized facade solution, and reinforce the existing foundations. The building's technical equipment will be renewed, and the structure will be made fit for mixed-use.
GOLDBECK manufactures key building elements industrially in its own factories and assembles them precisely on-site. This approach ensures high-quality construction and reliable statements about construction time and costs early on. The company uses digital survey and planning with Building Information Modeling to achieve this.
The revitalized office complex will offer a total of 8,000 square meters of rental space. This includes an approximately 900 square meter retail space for Aldi Süd and 83 residential units. The project serves as an example of how modernization and renovation can be achieved in existing buildings.
The collaboration between GOLDBECK and AS+P Albert Speer + Partner GmbH on this Frankfurt revitalization project has been successful for all parties involved. This project demonstrates future-proof solutions for the revitalization backlog in Germany.
GOLDBECK regularly collaborates with independent architecture firms to set exciting impulses, lead to success in tenders and competitions, and show how inspiring architecture can be realized quickly, economically, and sustainably with the GOLDBECK principle. The revitalization of the office complex in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen is a testament to this approach.
