Wiesbaden Offers Free Daily Fitness Test for Seniors
Wiesbaden residents aged 60 and above are invited to participate in a free trial session of the Daily Fitness Test (DFT) on Monday, October 13th. The event, held at the town hall from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, aims to measure physical performance scientifically and motivate participants to improve their fitness.
The DFT is not a competitive event but a starting point for individuals to understand their physical strengths and areas for improvement. The test is designed to show where training could help, providing a comprehensive overview of one's fitness level.
Organised by the Wiesbaden Sports Circle and the Department of Elderly Affairs of the Social Welfare Office, the trial session offers a chance for older residents to experience the DFT firsthand. Despite extensive searches, the origin of the DFT remains unclear, as no organisation has been identified as its developer.
